The starting point
Detecting an offence is only the start of the process. From that point the evidence has to be validated, notice served within the deadline, representations and appeals resolved, payment of the fines managed and time limits kept from running out.
When the volume of case files grows — which is what usually happens once automatic devices are installed — council teams can find themselves overwhelmed. Without the right resources or specialist support, the risk of time-barred cases, lapsed proceedings and uncollected revenue goes up.
Where it applies
How CGi21 responds
CGi21 works alongside the council across the full life of the case file, with specialist staff and tools that automate the repetitive work: pre-validation, draft decisions ready for review, deadline control and bulk handling of case files integrated with the e-government platform.
The council exercises the acts of authority and the sanctioning powers, and keeps control of the case file. CGi21 takes on the operational load so that case files move forward quickly, safely and traceably.
From detection to result
Every phase is covered and connected to the next, so the information moves forward without manual steps.
