Plate look-up
Whether a vehicle has travelled through the municipality in a given period, with date, time and direction of travel.
Solution 04 · Smart traffic control
Going beyond the penalty: turning reactive traffic administration into management that is proactive, predictive and based on data.
24/7
continuously
The devices already installed keep working, with no need to replace them.
1
digital twin
All the municipality's metrics and sources of information, in real time.
0
blind scenarios
Closures, traffic lights or events are simulated before they are applied.
The starting point
A municipality builds up devices installed at different times, from different manufacturers and suppliers and for different purposes. Each one meets a different need and hardly any of them is connected to the rest.
The result is reactive management: action is taken once the problem has already happened. You know how many offences have been detected, but not why they occur, nor what would happen if a street were closed, a traffic light adjusted or a large event held.

How CGi21 responds
We integrate the information from the devices the council already has in operation and from the equipment installed later on, whichever manufacturer or supplier it comes from, including the devices that detect and record offences with maximum precision.
With that information we build a digital twin of road traffic: all the metrics and sources integrated in real time, with simulation capability to plan scenarios — street closures, traffic light adjustments, mass events — and foresee their impact before applying them.
From detection to result
Every phase is covered and connected to the next, so the information moves forward without manual steps.
01
Which devices there are, from which manufacturer or supplier and what data each one provides.
02
All the sources on a single platform, without replacing what is installed.
03
Transits are cross-checked against each other and against the municipality's lists and data series.
04
Automatic alerts when traffic or the surroundings depart from what was expected.
05
The scenario is tested on the digital twin before it is implemented.
06
The measure is applied with a forecast of its effect, not blindly.
What it includes
Every municipality starts from a different reality. The solution is therefore configured around its priorities, bringing in the components it needs and fitting the contracted scope.
The devices already installed and the new ones, from any manufacturer or supplier, feeding the same system.
All the metrics and sources in real time, on the map of the municipality.
Consultation, cross-checking and advanced search across the traffic history.
Automatic warnings of traffic variations, congestion or significant incidents.
Street closures, traffic light adjustments and events, tested before they are applied.
Processing of measurements, and warnings when certain levels are exceeded.

Why CGi21
Whether a vehicle has travelled through the municipality in a given period, with date, time and direction of travel.
A record of the transits of vehicles whose plate is on a watch list.
Warnings when there are significant variations or a relevant problem is detected.
Warnings when the time vehicles take to travel between two points increases.
Not only recorded transits: also sequences, situations or the likely appearance of a vehicle.
Anticipating situations on key dates or from the weather forecast.
Analysis of environmental data, and an alert when certain levels are exceeded.
Frequently asked questions
No. The solution is built precisely on what is already working, whichever manufacturer or supplier it comes from, and accepts equipment installed later.
A replica of the municipality's traffic fed in real time by every available source. It lets you see what is happening and, above all, simulate what would happen if something were changed.
That is the aim. Detecting offences is one of the data sources, but the purpose is to plan mobility and get ahead of problems.
Yes. The scenario is tested on the digital twin and its expected impact is seen before it is applied on the street.

Who it is for
Councils that already have devices installed and want to use them for more than issuing penalties.
