01
Point cloud
The whole scene, point by point, with its slopes and dips.
Traffic accident reporting
It builds the accident scene in three dimensions and leaves it measurable. What used to take a specialist team and hours of closed road is done by one officer in minutes.
160
million points
Per scene, according to the manufacturer. Every slope and irregularity is recorded.
0
connection needed
It captures with no coverage and no network. The screen shows in real time what is going in.
1
officer
No specialist staff and no specific training needed to capture the scene.
What it captures
A collision report rests on distances: where the skid mark begins, how high the point of impact is, how far the vehicle sits from the kerb. Measuring that on site means keeping the road closed, and any figure nobody took is lost for good. iCam3D captures the whole scene as a point cloud. The measurements are taken afterwards, on the model, as many times as needed and without going back to the site.
The result comes out in minutes and can be walked through from any angle, including the ones no tape measure could reach.
01
The whole scene, point by point, with its slopes and dips.
02
Any distance, also after the fact, taken on the captured model.
03
Marks and notes on the relevant elements of the scene.
04
The images associated with the capture.
05
A planimetric representation of the whole.
06
A walk through the scene from any angle and perspective.
Capture made simple
You get every measurement you need, even after the fact, with millions of measurable details: up to 160 million points per scene.
You look at the scene from any angle and perspective. It picks up reality point by point, dips and slopes included.
Capabilities
The scene is recorded without keeping the road closed while measurements are taken.
Figures come from the model, not from the ground. If one is missing, nobody has to go back.
It needs no dedicated technician and no specific training, according to the manufacturer.
Capture needs no coverage and no data connection.
It records slopes, potholes and dips that a manual measurement misses.
Point cloud, measurements, annotations, photographs and plans from the same capture.
Where it is used
Technology
The system records the scene as a point cloud, not as a series of photographs.
During the capture the screen shows what is going into the model.
Up to 160 million points per scene, according to the manufacturer.
It runs with no connection, which is the real condition of many collision sites.
Specifications as stated by the manufacturer. Pending technical validation and confirmation of how it fits Spanish court procedure.
Privacy and GDPR
The capture may take in people, vehicles and number plates present at the site. The use is bounded before deployment, not afterwards.
The capture documents the collision; it is not there to watch the surroundings.
The model and its images are handled on the same terms as the rest of the report.
Only the staff handling the case can open the capture.
The retention period is agreed with the authority before going live.

The capture does not end up as a loose file: it goes into the platform alongside the rest of the information on the collision.
Frequently asked questions
No. It is a documentation tool: it provides the capture and the measurements that then support the report, which the officer still prepares.
The manufacturer puts it at minutes, against the hours a full manual measurement takes. The real time depends on the size of the scene.
According to the manufacturer, no: it is designed precisely so that nobody has to train and assign staff exclusively to this.
It is taken on the model. That is the real change from measuring on the ground: nobody has to go back to the site.
Yes. The capture needs no data connection.
