What it is for
Each contract has added different devices, technologies and requirements. The result is familiar in any municipality: speed cameras, cameras, access control, low-emission zones and video surveillance managed from isolated systems that were never designed to work together. Information is duplicated, integrating each new device costs more than the last, and much of the data goes unused.
Transica sits between the devices on the public road and the procedures of the public authority. It receives what each device produces, whichever manufacturer it comes from, interprets it and puts it into a single format, so that the council manages results and not the technical complexity behind them.
Who it is for
Local Police, Mobility, Public Safety and those responsible for case processing.
When it fits
Municipalities with devices from different manufacturers that want to manage, validate and analyse them from a single place.
How it works
Every file received follows the same path, designed to guarantee its integrity and to leave a record of each step.
01
Any connected device generates events: a plate reading, an image, a video.
02
Transica recognises each device's format and standardises the information in a common structure.
03
The rules agreed with the council determine which events require review.
04
The decision always rests with a person: there is no automatic action.
05
What has been validated passes to the administrative systems the body already uses.
06
A way of working that performs the same in a small town as in a network of hundreds of municipalities.

The device detects and classifies what happens on the road. Transica receives that result, cross-references it with the other sources and decides whether an alert needs to be raised or whether it is simply added to the statistics.
Capabilities
Speed cameras, plate readers, red-light cameras and pedestrian-crossing cameras, whichever manufacturer they come from, in a common data structure.
New devices are added through configuration, not bespoke development. Changing device does not mean changing platform.
The rules filter what needs to be reviewed and a person decides. Every step is recorded and can be audited.
Plate recognition, video analysis, searches and prioritisation of work. The AI proposes; the operator decides.
Live and recorded video, navigation through time, export of evidence and dashboards with cameras from different manufacturers, with automatic privacy protection.
Traffic patterns, corridors, recurring vehicles and compliance trends, on a digital twin of the municipality's traffic that is used for planning.
The police forces of different municipalities can authorise mutual access to each other's data to widen plate searches, on the basis of the applicable agreements, powers and regulations.
Cloud architecture, shared between bodies with their data kept separate, and with an open API to integrate third-party systems.
What you can do
Integration
The platform works alongside what the municipality already has installed, rather than forcing it to be replaced.

Frequently asked questions
Today it integrates equipment from different manufacturers and technology families in a single architecture. The specific scope of each project is defined in the assessment.
That is its main use case: making the most of the existing equipment rather than replacing it.
No. The AI helps to read, search and organise the work, but there is no automatic penalty: the evidence is reviewed and the decision is always made by a person.

No. Transica passes what has been validated to the administrative systems the body already uses.
